The accolades continue to pile up for Jimmy Butler in the early part of this season. After winning Conference Player of the Month in November, Jimmy now takes honors for Conference Player of the Week.

In the last four games Jimmy averaged, 23 points , 7.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 2.0 blocks. All while shooting over 50 percent from the field and 90 percent from the charity strip. With a 27 point performance vs Toronto at the start of the week, Jimmy continued his push scoring 11 vs Washington, 27 vs the Lakers, and ending the week with an all around shooting performance which led to his 33 point outing vs New Orleans.

It is just two months into the regular season and Jimmy Butler is already proving to be a go to player on the offensive side of the ball. In the past Rose has been the sole provider of offense as well as bail out plays late in the shot clock. However, with the level of play from Jimmy, it is quiet apparent teams are going to have a tough time stopping this back court duo. In his fourth season in the NBA, you can go ahead and label this, Jimmy Butler’s breakout season.

Jimmy Butler and the Bulls head to Indiana to face the Pacers on Monday night. Jimmy will continue to stay steady on the path that will lead him right to the his first All-Star game.
