It’s been the same old story for the Bulls this season, injuries. Which as a result has meant more of our beloved Bull, Kirk Hinrich. And lately, Hinrich has graced Bulls fans with some otherworldly highlights to clamor over for the foreseeable future. After missing about a week’s worth of games near the end of February with a foot injury, Hinrich has come back these last five games and picked up right where he left off. Since his return, Hinrich is shooting 9-27 from the field, 1-11 from deep with only seven assists and zero free throw attempts. It’s not getting any better for Captain Grit. Last night during the Bulls’ 97-92 win over the free falling Washington Wizards, Hinrich provided us with some more memorable moments, caught by our very own Jason Hall.
There have been small reports of former Bull Nate Robinson and management having mutual interest since the recent influx of injuries. With one spot open on the roster for the Bulls, Robinson should be at the top of the list to fill, as a means of replacing Kirk and providing the Bulls with much needed help. Nevertheless, Kirk Hinrich’s performance has been less than desired for and only continues to worsen as time goes on. Chicago is in a very tough position as the stretch run of the season nears, with injuries to three of its significant players. The Bulls need help to whither the storm, and Hinrich is the last one who should be on the front line.
